Close collaboration in the fight against cancer
In cooperation with the other DKTK partner sites and also in many monocentric research projects the section Translational Radioncology and Clinical Radiotherapy focuses on the improvement of radio-oncological cancer treatment by biological individualization and technical optimization (high precision radiotherapy) including the use of particle radiotherapy. In a very close and synergetic interaction between all working groups of this section promising preclinical approaches are evaluated for the possibility of translation into the clinics (bench-to-bedside).
