To make progress in the fight against cancer, it is important that researchers from different fields - from biology, chemistry and physics to medicine - work together. The National Centre for Radiation Research in Oncology - OncoRay connects doctors and scientists of the Helmholtz Centre Dresden-Rossendorf, the Technical University and the University Hospital. Our vision: to improve the treatment of cancer through biologically individualized, technologically optimal radiation therapy.

The guided tours into the treatment room of the proton therapy facility start every 15 minutes.
