The OncoRay Center is a joint platform facilitating close cooperation between the three institutions that operate it: Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital Dresden, Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR).
In addition, the OncoRay Center also collaborates closely with other research institutions:
- Together with the Heidelberg Institute for Radiooncology HIRO/German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), OncoRay constitutes the National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology (NCRO).
- OncoRay partners the Dresden site of the German Consortium for Translational Cancer Research (DKTK).
- OncoRay is a partner in the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Dresden.
Network strengths
Working together the partners can undertake major development projects and multi-site studies. The entire research infrastructure can be used by all the scientists involved.
Not least thanks to excellent networking, OncoRay can make its mark in the international vanguard of radiation oncology research.
